    Job Description
    We are seeking a Senior Business Process Reengineering Specialist (BPRS) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting multiple long-standing enterprise web applications built on modern Microsoft and database platforms. This role is responsible for analyzing current-state business processes, application behavior, and data flows, and for designing and implementing future-state process and system improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, ensure compliance, and improve service delivery.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of multiple enterprise web applications, including architecture, workflows, business functions, and data flows
    • Provide ongoing operational support (KTLO) and support new initiatives and enhancement projects
    • Analyze current-state (“as-is”) processes and systems; design and implement future-state (“to-be”) workflows and improvements
    • Facilitate cross-functional sessions with architects, developers, analysts, QA, security teams, and business stakeholders
    • Elicit, document, and translate clear, testable business and system requirements
    • Create and maintain process, system, and training documentation aligned with structured enterprise methodologies
    • Guide effective use of Azure DevOps for Agile planning, backlog management, delivery tracking, and reporting
    • Define measurable success criteria and ensure alignment with operational and strategic objectives
    • Provide coaching, oversight, and training to analysts, developers, QA staff, and subject matter experts
    • Lead and support application modernization initiatives, including incremental transformation of legacy systems
     
    Required Qualifications
    • Extensive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing, documentation, training, and service delivery
    • Proven ability to model and design as-is and to-be business processes and workflows
    • Strong experience creating process diagrams, workflow diagrams, and data-flow documentation
    • Demonstrated success leading full lifecycle projects from planning through delivery
    • Proven experience modernizing legacy systems and transitioning to contemporary frameworks
    • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, backlog tracking, reporting)
    • General knowledge of .NET, SQL Server, Teradata, and enterprise application environments
    • Experience with System Security Plans (SSP), NIST controls, and ATO processes
    • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
     
    Preferred Qualifications
    • ITIL certification or equivalent experience
    • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma concepts applied to IT and process improvement
    • Knowledge of IT service management and change management practices
    • Experience with risk analysis and remediation using POAMs
