Job Description:
This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation.
Team Description: The primary focus of the Enterprise Credit (EC) Commercial Quality Review (QR) team is to design and execute quality review activities on processes and data elements across the EC commercial lines of business. QR results aid the EC line of business by ensuring process and controls are functioning properly and that data elements are flowing completely and accurately from input through to regulatory and management reporting.
Role Description: The Senior Business Control Specialist is responsible for executing a defined portfolio of quality review test scripts and delivering high‑quality, independent assessments within assigned programs. The role requires applying sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and disciplined execution to ensure reviews are completed accurately and thoroughly. The candidate will also contribute to broader team initiatives and may support program management activities based on experience. This position requires the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and provide timely, well‑supported insights that strengthen the overall effectiveness of the EC Commercial Quality Review program.
