    Description

    The Sr. Business Analyst & Project Manager assists stakeholders and sponsors with understanding and converting business ideas and requirements into detailed user stories. These are documented in tickets for the developers and the QA team to ensure clarity and alignment with the business and technical requirements.

    • Translates business needs to be used by the development staff to create technical designs and programming specifications; assists with the design and review of specifications.
    • Determines how changes to the project will affect the business and systems.
    • Manages the product roadmap and priorities, and assists with project management.
    • Provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the system.
    • Responds to inquiries and provides advice to stakeholders and management regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs.
    • Negotiates plans and timeframes, ensuring that clients understand the anticipated result.
    • Develops and communicates detailed specifications for implementation.
    • Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, customers, investors, and other relevant parties.
    • Maintains and ensures proper documentation, and coordinates and assists with QA and UAT of system modifications.
    • Collaborates with management to ensure the needs of the client have been met.
    • Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of system difficulties.
    • Satisfies data sampling, project analysis, testing verification, and other user requests from existing client databases.
    • Maintains a current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree. Four (4) years of relevant education and work experience may be substituted for degree
    • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive related experience as an analyst
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Extremely proficient in leading discovery and business/functional requirements gathering calls and translating into user stories, use cases and documentation
    • Knowledgeable with Confluence, Jira or MS Dev Ops systems for documentation and project management
    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
    • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello)
    • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
    • Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems
    • Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully
    • Must have a home office available
    • Polished and professional demeanor.
