Title : Sr. Business Analyst
Project: CA State project (California Air Resource Board)
Duration: 1 year (with possible 2 1-year extensions)
Target Start: Mid August 2026
Location: Remote – Must be based in CA (no exceptions)
Visa : USC and GC only
Must Haves (no exceptions)- 5+ years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
- 3 years of lead experience
- Minimum possession of a bachelor's degree
- 4+ years System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Experience
- Applying SDLC methodologies to identify, evaluate, and recommend business or technical requirements
- Eliciting, defining, and documenting business, user, functional, transition, implementation, and system requirements
- 4+ years Complex Requirements Documentation & Lead BA Experience
- Creating and applying requirement documentation standards (RTMs, as is/to be diagrams, use cases, user stories, narrative descriptions)
- 5+ years of Stakeholder Engagement
- Working directly with end users in a production support environment
- Facilitating, collaborating, and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels, including executives
- 1+ years of experience supporting State/Federal government agency projects
- Familiar with PAL (Project Approval Lifecycle) or similar process
