    Sr. Business Analyst - Multinational Insurance Platform

    Summary

    Our client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to support the implementation of a new multinational insurance platform covering the full insurance lifecycle including submission intake, program design, underwriting, quoting, policy issuance, premium administration, claims coordination, and renewals. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product leadership, and technical teams to turn complex business processes into detailed requirements and implementation-ready specifications. This Business Analyst will use AI-assisted design and development tools to support wireframing, requirements development, and engineering workflows.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with business SMEs and stakeholders to define requirements and operational workflows.
    • Review and refine existing requirements, user stories, process documentation, and wireframes.
    • Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for software development.
    • Create and enhance wireframes and prototypes using AI-assisted UX and Copilot tools.
    • Document business rules, regulatory requirements, decision logic, workflows, user experience requirements, and acceptance criteria.
    • Define data requirements, business validations, exception scenarios, and expected process outcomes.
    • Develop structured specifications that support Copilot-assisted engineering workflows.
    • Partner with product and technical teams to ensure requirements are complete and ready for development.
    • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, solution walkthroughs, and business validation sessions.
    • Document stakeholder feedback, identify gaps, and refine requirements throughout development.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of business analyst experience supporting complex software or digital platform implementations.
    • Experience gathering, documenting, and refining detailed business and functional requirements.
    • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframes, and business specifications.
    • Experience working closely with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and software engineering teams.
    • Experience defining data requirements, business rules, validations, workflows, and exception handling.
    • Experience supporting Agile development, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
    • Experience using AI-assisted tools including Microsoft Copilot or similar tools within requirements, design, or development workflows.
    • Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred

    • Experience with commercial insurance, multinational insurance, D&O, Ocean Cargo, underwriting, or policy administration.
    • Experience with multinational insurance operations, regulatory requirements, or global policy programs.

    This is a 6-month Contract opportunity with our client.
