Project Summary

The Medical Education team is undergoing a strategic transformation of its reporting, forecasting, metrics, and operational processes. This role will evaluate current-state workflows, reporting structures, Salesforce utilization, forecasting methodologies, and data governance practices, then design and implement scalable future-state solutions. The contractor will partner with Medical Affairs, IT, Salesforce, Finance, and Commercial teams to improve efficiency, standardize reporting and nomenclature, automate manual processes, and develop executive dashboards that provide actionable business insights.

Team Composition

The contractor will support the PVH Medical Education team and collaborate closely with:

  • Medical Affairs Program Managers
  • Medical Education Operations team
  • Salesforce Administrators
  • IT Business Partners
  • Finance partners
  • Tableau and reporting resources
  • Commercial stakeholders

The team currently consists primarily of program managers and operational resources. There is no dedicated resource focused on business process analysis, reporting optimization, forecasting design, data governance, and technology utilization across Medical Education programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and document current-state business processes, workflows, reporting structures, and system utilization across Medical Education.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, manual workarounds, duplicate efforts, and opportunities for automation.
  • Evaluate and optimize Salesforce reporting structures, dashboards, data models, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Design and implement scalable reporting frameworks, governance standards, and best practices.
  • Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting solutions utilizing Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheet, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Create and maintain sustainable forecasting models, including long-range planning, budget forecasting, program schedules, and resource planning.
  • Lead taxonomy and nomenclature standardization efforts across therapies, products, and educational program types.
  • Partner with IT, Salesforce, Finance, and business stakeholders to implement process and technology improvements.
  • Research and benchmark industry best practices related to reporting structures, dashboard design, forecasting methodologies, and governance models.
  • Drive change management activities, stakeholder adoption, process documentation, and training for new solutions.

Must-Have Skills and Attributes

  • 7 years of experience in Business Process Improvement, Business Analysis, Operations Excellence, or related functions.
  • Advanced Salesforce reporting, administration, and process optimization experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing Tableau dashboards and executive reporting solutions.
  • Strong proficiency with Smartsheet and enterprise workflow management platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience developing KPI frameworks, performance metrics, and executive dashboards.
  • Experience with forecasting methodologies, financial planning support, and long-range resource planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving business stakeholders, IT, and system administrators.
  • Experience with data governance, taxonomy management, reporting standards, and process documentation.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Attributes

  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or Medical Affairs experience.
  • Knowledge of physician education, professional education, or commercial training organizations.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CBAP, or similar process improvement certifications.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce data architecture and governance initiatives.
  • Experience working with healthcare compliance, finance, and forecasting teams.
  • Experience leading digital transformation and business process redesign projects.

Work Hours

Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility may be required to accommodate stakeholder meetings across multiple time zones.

The interview process will focus on the candidate's experience with business process improvement, reporting optimization, Salesforce utilization, dashboard development, forecasting methodologies, and stakeholder management. Candidates should be prepared to discuss examples of process redesign initiatives, reporting transformations, and measurable business outcomes achieved through operational improvements.
