Senior AWS Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior AWS Infrastructure Automation Engineer with deep hands-on experience building, provisioning, and supporting AWS infrastructure in enterprise environments. This role requires strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, Python automation/AWS Lambda, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience automating AWS infrastructure, developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and building reliable deployment and provisioning processes. This is a hands-on engineering role supporting application development teams and enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, provision, maintain, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and services in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Use Terraform to provision and manage AWS services across development, test, and production environments.
• Create and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure and application deployments.
• Develop Python-based automation, including AWS Lambda functions, to automate infrastructure and operational processes.
• Troubleshoot and improve infrastructure reliability, deployment processes, and automation.
• Define and maintain infrastructure configurations, including server provisioning, storage, and related AWS resources.
• Use AWS CloudFormation to deploy and manage AWS resources as needed.
• Partner with application development and technical teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 8 10+ years of hands-on AWS experience, with advanced knowledge of AWS services and enterprise AWS environments.
• 4+ years of hands-on Terraform experience, including provisioning AWS infrastructure across multiple environments.
• 4+ years of Jenkins experience, including creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Expert-level Python automation experience, including developing AWS Lambda functions.
• Experience deploying AWS resources using CloudFormation.
• Strong infrastructure troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Significant experience working in client-facing enterprise environments.
• Bachelor s degree in a technology-related field required; Master s degree preferred.
