    Location:Remote - Thousand Oaks, CA

    Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

    Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

    Compensation: $27/$30 per hour (based on experience)


    Summary of the Role

    Join a big biopharma leader as a U.S. Benefit Sr Associate, responsible for daily administration and management of U.S. health and welfare benefit plans. Ensure compliance, operational accuracy, and excellent service delivery while collaborating with vendors and supporting annual processes. This role demands deep benefits expertise and strong communication across time zones.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Administer U.S. health and welfare benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, and support leave of absence and wellness programs
    • Monitor vendor service delivery, escalate concerns, and ensure swift resolution
    • Maintain accurate plan documentation and compliance with benefit regulations
    • Respond to and resolve escalated employee benefits inquiries promptly and accurately
    • Coordinate and execute the annual open enrollment process
    • Support compliance reporting and maintain relevant records
    • Collaborate cross-functionally within a global team environment
    • Analyze data and recommend benefit program improvements

    Required Experience & Skills

    • Hands-on experience administering U.S. health and welfare benefit plans
    • Knowledge of benefit regulations and compliance requirements
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a global organization
    • Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive actionable improvements
    • Experience working in large, diverse, global organizations

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Administer all aspects of U.S. employee benefit programs
    • Monitor vendor performance and resolve service issues
    • Serve as escalation point for employee inquiries
    • Assist with open enrollment and compliance activities

    Basic Qualifications

    • Master degree
    • Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience
    • Associate degree and 6 years of experience
    • High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
