We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Associate Attorney to join our firm on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with a strong focus on bankruptcy and tax law. This role requires a technologically savvy individual who can leverage modern legal technology to enhance efficiency and client service.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert legal counsel in the areas of bankruptcy and tax law.- Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings and tax disputes.- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.- Utilize legal technology tools to manage cases and improve workflow.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.- Active license to practice law in the state of Iowa.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bankruptcy and tax law.- Proficiency in legal research and writing.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Technologically savvy with experience using legal software and tools.
