Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Associate Attorney to join our firm on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with a strong focus on bankruptcy and tax law. This role requires a technologically savvy individual who can leverage modern legal technology to enhance efficiency and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal counsel in the areas of bankruptcy and tax law.
- Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings and tax disputes.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
- Utilize legal technology tools to manage cases and improve workflow.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Iowa.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bankruptcy and tax law.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technologically savvy with experience using legal software and tools.
