Sr Application Developer

Practical experience and knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and API Gateways, with at least one of the following technologies: 3Scale, MuleSoft, Apigee Edge, CA Technologies, Tibco Mashery, Axway, and IBM Gateway. Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, audit stakeholders, business partners, and other technical teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve integration challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Sr Application Developer to join a financial services company in San Francisco, CA. This is a 15-month contract to start with the potential for extensions. 

Pay:$78.00 - $98.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.


Description:
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration technologies.
• Develop and maintain API-led integrations and microservices, applying Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), API gateway, and integration best practices to connect internal and external applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable application designs, API specifications, integration flows, and technical solutions.
• Perform application development activities across the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, deployment, quality assurance, and production support.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, audit stakeholders, business partners, and other technical teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve integration challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, participate in code reviews and design discussions, and contribute to development standards, best practices, and continuous improvement of the application/integration environment.

Few of the top skills required:

• MuleSoft
• A minimum of 5 years' experience programming, analysis, design, development implementation, quality assurance, and applications support.
• Practical experience and knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and API Gateways, with at least one of the following technologies: 3Scale, MuleSoft, Apigee Edge, CA Technologies, Tibco Mashery, Axway, and IBM Gateway.
• Strong soft skills are non-negotiable as well.
