    Title : Angular Developer
    Location:
    Charlotte ,NC (Hybrid)
    Position : W2 Contract

    Role
We are building a bespoke Enterprise Management Allocations platform to standardize and automate allocations for cost, revenue, capital, and liquidity across products, segments, and legal entities. As the Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will own end to end delivery of the application: an Angular front end for modeling, workflow, and analytics; and an Oracle SQL–based allocations engine (PL/SQL packages, optimized queries, partitioned tables, and scheduler jobs) that executes multi-level, rule-driven allocations at scale.
This role partners closely with Finance, Controllership, Treasury, and Data teams to ensure accuracy, traceability, and auditability of allocation outcomes aligned with enterprise policies and regulatory expectations.
    Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Delivery - Design and implement a modular architecture: Angular UI, Oracle allocations engine, and REST APIs (.NET/Java/Node—choose one based on firm standards).
Build a rules-driven allocations engine in Oracle (PL/SQL) supporting multi-step cascades, percent/smart-driver allocations, residuals, caps/floors, offsets, and reversals.
Implement allocation scenarios (baseline, forecast, stress, what if) with versioning and effective dating.
Ensure lineage and explainability: persist rule metadata, source/target mapping, driver inputs, and step-by-step audit trails.
Data & Performance - Design normalized and analytical schemas (e.g., star schema for reporting; partitioning by period/entity), indexes, and materialized views to support large monthly/weekly close volumes.
Optimize PL/SQL and SQL execution plans, leverage parallelism, bulk collect/forall, result cache, global temp tables, and DBMS_SCHEDULER for batch execution.
Integrate with enterprise data sources (GL, HR, reference data, product systems) and publish outputs to downstream reporting (Tableau/PowerBI/OBIEE) and ledger posting pipelines.
Front-End & UX - Build an Angular application with:
Rule builders (wizards), driver configuration, and validation flags.
Scenario management, schedules, and approvals (maker/checker).
Traceability views (drill through from target to source lines).
Interactive variance analysis and attribution dashboards.
Enforce RBAC, SSO (SAML/OAuth/OpenID Connect), and row-level security integration.
Controls & Compliance - Implement SOX-compliant change controls, approvals, and audit logs for rules and runs.
Embed data quality checks (completeness, thresholds, outliers, orphan mappings) and exception workflows.
Ensure compliance with model risk management and regulatory expectations for finance allocations (transparency, documentation, back testing where applicable).
DevOps & Operations - Establish CI/CD (Git, pipelines), automated tests (unit/integration/e2e), and blue/green or canary release strategies.
Build runbooks and monitoring: job runtimes, reconciliation rules, data freshness, and user activity.
Drive non functional requirements—performance, scalability, resilience, cost optimization.
    Required Qualifications
8+ years software engineering; 5+ years with Oracle SQL/PL/SQL (packages, procedures, performance tuning).
3+ years building production Angular applications (Angular 12+; RxJS; Angular Material).
Proven experience designing allocations, cost modeling, or financial data processing at enterprise scale.
Deep knowledge of relational modeling, query optimization, partitioning, indexing, and batch scheduling in Oracle.
Experience with RESTful APIs and secure, low-latency data access patterns.
Strong understanding of auditability, controls, and traceability in finance/regulated environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    Preferred Qualifications
Financial services background (Banking/Insurance/Asset Management; FP&A, Product/Segment allocations, Funds Transfer Pricing a plus).
Experience with Oracle Advanced Analytics, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Informatica, and Kafka or enterprise messaging.
Familiarity with MDM/reference data, chart of accounts, legal entity hierarchies, and cost center structures.
