We have begun a comprehensive program to streamline processes, improve systems, realign the organization and add opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.     Corporate FP&A VCG Profitability and Reporting Team

    Move beyond compiling data and help tell the story behind the numbers for Verizon Home Internet (VHI) Cost of Acquisition (COA) and Profitability analysis and reporting for both Fios and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). The position offers opportunities to drive better business partnering and insights, while growing your FP&A leadership and social skills. You are considered a business partner, and your contributions will make a difference. You’ll become involved in providing business insights for new initiatives to develop new products and services. You can have an impact on new business growth opportunities through analysis and reporting of current products and services that have an impact on development of new initiatives.

    • Provide research and analysis for the monthly COA reporting, Business Plan, Commitment View Best View including recommendations for management reviews.
    • Create drafts of ad-hoc analysis generated for the business client.
    • Finalize monthly analyses of business trends and budget variance of financial results and Key Performance Indicators to be used in management reviews and strategic business analysis sessions.
    • Perform additional research to enhance business case analysis for pricing and investment decisions support to the business client.
    • Incorporate financial data into models/templates to prepare guidelines and drive the planning process.
    • Analyze financial results, identify issues/patterns and provide recommendations.
    • Conduct initial strategic business analyses.
    • Identify and communicate possible scenarios, associated risks and opportunities to include in the business performance reviews.
    • Build the outline and/or update profitability models.
    • Analyze economic drivers of the business client (e.g. customer churn, renewals).
    • Assist in simplifying, streamlining and automating current reporting and analysis processes.
    • Communicate with partners in a clear and concise manner.

    What we’re looking for...

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
    • Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
    • Experience with Google Workspace, Google Gemini and Microsoft Excel.

    Even better if you have one or more of the following:

    • Master’s degree in Data/Business Analytics, Finance, or Economics.
    • Understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes.
    • Knowledge of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to focus on the details.
    • Experience with Data analysis products & tools such as SQL, KNIME, Claude Code, GCP, QLIK and others.

    Where you’ll be working

    In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

    The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

    The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $67,000.00 - $121,000.00.
