    We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Analyst, Key Account Management to join our J&J Orthopaedics team (DePuy Synthes).  This position is remote based within the US. 

    Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. 

     

    Purpose: 

    The Senior Analyst, Strategic Insights & Analytics role will be responsible for supporting commercial sales execution, providing insights, and driving transformative changes within our Key Account Management organization. The individual should possess a combination of strategic thinking, commercial sales acumen, and analytical expertise to help US DePuy Synthes achieve its commercial goals. This position reports to the Manager Strategic Insights & Analytics and works very closely with the Pricing & Contracting, Selling, Marketing, and Strategic Customer organizations of DePuy Synthes. 

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Act as key strategic business partner for Key Account Management leadership team managing targeted Health Systems and National Group Purchasing Organizations 

    • Use the latest analytical models and tools including data discovery solutions, dashboarding suites, and statistical techniques to provide continuous updates and insights at all levels of the organization in the form of standard reports, scorecards, and ad-hoc analysis 

    • Build and maintain Tableau-based dashboards for analysis of platform and contracting metrics, including back-end data management and consolidation as needed 

    • Support ad-hoc initiatives through project management, market analysis, stakeholder management, etc. 

    • Support workshops to identify and implement business acceleration initiatives 

    • Apply a strategic approach to measure dashboard utilization and adoption, elevating user engagement across the commercial sales organization 

     

    Qualifications: 

    • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred 

    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Healthcare or a related industry is preferred 

    • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in strategy or analytics is required 

    • Previous ownership of developing and delivering commercial strategies is preferred 

    • Strong business & financial acumen in understanding the needs and priorities of the broader business with a penchant for understanding the use of metrics/numbers to gauge overall performance is preferred 

    • Experience and understanding of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Health Systems is preferred 

    • Tableau Dashboard creation experience required 

    • High level of exposure/experience interacting with Excel and PowerPoint 

    • Proven expertise in one or more data systems – Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik, R, Python is  

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to reconcile external and internal data sources 

    • Proven ability to synthesize data, interpret data, and process observations into meaningful recommendations 

    • Strong ability to communicate effectively is  

    • Ability to prioritize and to successfully manage multiple projects/priorities is  

    • Experience of leading and delivering data engineering/analytics projects is required 

    • Up to 10% travel
