    Job Overview

    TE Connectivity is the global leader in the electronic connectors and sensors industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Trade Analyst, who desires the opportunity to be part of an exciting global network of SAP professionals optimizing carrier and transportation processes within our fulfillment organization. The applicant should have a minimum of 7 years of experience working on the SAP GTS module. As part of a diverse global team, the candidate should have the desire to refine and improve those skills and take TE Connectivity, a global electronics leader and Fortune 500 company into the future.

    TE Connectivity's ERP systems teams conduct analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide systems (e.g., SAP) across functional areas. They perform analysis of systems specifications and use the latest analytical/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. TE's ERP systems teams also develop conversion and system implementation plans, prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation, recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards, coordinate system upgrade activity and train user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Implement and support best practice trade processes across TE business units and functional domains.
    • Eagerness to "get one's hands dirty" learning, implementing, configuring and operating software SAP GTS, and associated downstream functionality within SAP feeder systems and interfaces with those systems.
    • Able to successfully solve complex business problems related to global trade, and export and import compliance.
    • Ensure trade-related projects are delivering realized value, positive return on investment and excellent customer experience for business users.
    • Meet with business & IT leaders to discuss and document system requirements, specifications, design, costs, and project timelines

    Mandate Skills:

    • 7 years of experience in SAP GTS.
    • Knowledge of SAP functionality related to trade, such as SAP SD, SAP LE-TRA, and SAP TM is a big plus.
    • Ability to operate in a global IT organization, closely related with the business.
    • Able to operate independently in a self-motivated fashion and solution oriented
    • Experience working with an offshore development organization in the background.
    • Strong technical foundation. Technical experience with the following technologies is a big plus - ABAP. Ability to analyze problems, think logically and suggest solutions in these areas.
    • Understanding of and experience successfully implementing SAP GTS and related interfaces.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organization and project planning skills with experience taking projects through their full lifecycle.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to quantify both potential and realized business value impact.
    • Ability to work across an organization, share success, and build a culture that embraces change and growth
    • English as a first or second language, sufficient for telephone consulting, email, training, and documentation. Primary business communication language is English.
    • Willingness to travel 5-10%
