Summary:
Provides test and manufacturing support for RLG and MEMS based inertial measurement units (IMUs).
Performs yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.
Utilizes CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
Investigates and resolves technical issues and facilitates issue identification and analysis.
Develops improvements in product design and in manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
Supports test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
Facilitates a self-driven workforce culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
Tests products and software.
Completes failure analysis, manufacturing assembly, and test on returned goods.
Focuses on return goods diagnosis, processing, and re-shipment manufacturing.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's Degree in STEM field.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, test, fabrication, or assembly processes.
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements.
Experience with product, process, manufacturing, or test engineering.
Knowledge of RCCA, Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA tools and methodologies.
Experience performing yield and performance data analysis for process capability and product health.
Experience investigating and resolving technical issues in manufacturing.
Experience developing improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.
Experience with test equipment and preventative maintenance plans.
