Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate successfully drives process improvements, supports manufacturing operations, and enhances product quality, yield, and operational efficiency.

Rate Range: $54/Hour to $58/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Perform failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions to resolve product and manufacturing issues.

  • Provide manufacturing and test engineering support for RLG and MEMS-based inertial measurement units (IMUs) to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

  • Analyze yield, performance, and process data to identify trends, improve process capability, and optimize manufacturing output.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, RCCA, and FMEA methodologies to reduce costs, improve cycle time, and increase productivity.

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing, assembly, and test processes while supporting new product introductions and technology improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues, maintain factory capacity, and drive quality, delivery, and operational excellence goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related STEM field.

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, test, fabrication, assembly, or process engineering within a production environment.

  • Experience conducting failure analysis, root cause corrective action (RCCA), and troubleshooting manufacturing or test-related issues to improve product quality and reliability.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies with a proven ability to drive process optimization initiatives.

Pay Details: $54.00 to $58.00 per hour
