    Position Summary

    The Sr. Acount Executive, Sack & Kraft is responsible for maintaining and growing Billerud's market position through strategic account management, business development, and commercial leadership. This role develops long-term customer partnerships, identifies growth opportunities, and delivers value-added solutions that support customer success and Billerud's business objectives.

    The Sr. Account Executive serves as a trusted advisor to customers while driving profitable growth, expanding market opportunities, and supporting Billerud's mission to provide sustainable packaging solutions. This position works closely with customers and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that create value for both customers and Billerud.

    Qualifications

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve sales volume, revenue, margin, and profitability objectives in alignment with business strategy and annual sales plans.
    • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned customers and target markets.
    • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
    • Lead commercial discussions and negotiate customer agreements in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
    • Identify customer needs and develop innovative solutions that create value for customers and Billerud.
    • Execute sales and growth initiatives established by business leadership and segment strategies.
    • Collect, analyze, and communicate market intelligence, competitive activity, customer trends, and growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with product management, marketing, operations, customer service, and technical teams to drive customer success.
    • Lead or participate in sales development, marketing, and business growth projects.
    • Represent Billerud at customer meetings, industry events, trade associations, and internal sales conferences.
    • Support key account initiatives and long-term market development efforts.
    • Drive continuous improvement in customer engagement, profitability, and market share.

    Personal qualities

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Packaging, or a related field.
    • Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience in B2B paper, packaging, or related industrial sales.
    • Proven success managing strategic customer relationships and delivering profitable growth.
    • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex customer agreements and leading high-level commercial discussions.
    • Technical knowledge of paper, packaging, and specialty paper applications.
    • Demonstrated success identifying, developing, and implementing new business opportunities.
    • Experience using customer insights, market intelligence, and industry trends to influence business decisions and growth strategies.
    • Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional and global teams.
