Job Description: A leading healthcare system is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform complex accounting functions and financial analysis to support organizational operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, supporting month-end close, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and upload journal entries, including consolidations and eliminating entries, ensuring accuracy of financial data
Review and approve reconciliations, research variances, and communicate findings to leadership
Support month-end close by reviewing entries, analyzing discrepancies, and ensuring timely completion
Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and audit schedules
Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to support forecasting and decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance and training to accounting staff
Qualifications and Requirements:
5–7 years of accounting experience required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
Master’s degree is preferred
Advanced knowledge of financial accounting and variance analysis
Experience working with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
Epic Cash reconciliation, Lawson, and Blackline experience are a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Pay Transparency Statement: In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $135,200 - $139,360 annually, not including benefits, potential bonuses, or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. The range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role, and hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
