LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing organization located in Cedar Park, Texas. This is a fully onsite opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in cost accounting, project accounting, job costing, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable partnering with operations to ensure accurate project financial reporting and profitability analysis.
Salary: $95,000 - $100,000 annually
Location: Cedar Park, TX (Fully Onsite)

Responsibilities
Manage project accounting activities from project setup through closeout.
Perform detailed job costing analysis and monitor project profitability.
Track costs, labor, materials, and overhead allocations across multiple projects.
Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Analyze project variances and provide recommendations to leadership.
Work closely with operations and project managers to monitor budgets and forecast project performance.
Assist with inventory and cost accounting functions, including cost allocations and standard cost analysis.
Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
Support internal and external audit requests.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant exposure to cost accounting and project accounting.
Strong understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, and project profitability analysis.
Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial services, or project-based environments highly preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modeling.
Experience working within an ERP system.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required.
Experience with revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting is a plus.
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting.
