Essential Functions • Execute general ledger accounting processes from end-to-end, including preparation of monthly journal entries. • Conduct reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts, with a focus on cash reconciliations. • Serve as liaison between corporate headquarters and geographically distributed field accountants for assigned sites. • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to develop budgets and forecasts and perform variance analyses. • Analyze financial data and problem solve related to assigned areas and accounts. • Execute key internal controls and support auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit. • Assist with special projects such as technical accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities. • Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
What Experience and Education You Need:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. • 1 year of Accounting experience required • Thorough understanding of GAAP. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.

Physical Requirements:
• Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending. • Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment. • Requires ability to comprehend and communicate with others, verbally and/or in writing. • May require travel by automobile and airplane for business. • May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing. • May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
