Sr. Ab Initio Developer Location: Dallas, Texas Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour
Position Overview A global technology firm seeks a Senior Ab Initio Developer for a six-month onsite contract in Dallas, Texas. This role designs and builds high-performance data integration and ETL solutions for enterprise data platforms in complex, high-volume environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio graphs and workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading
Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with data architects to define pipeline design patterns and standards
Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in production and development environments
Document technical specifications, data flows, and operational runbooks
Support data quality validation and reconciliation processes
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on Ab Initio development experience
Strong ETL and data integration background in enterprise environments
Experience working with large-scale, high-volume data platforms
Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Ab Initio EME (Enterprise Meta>Environment)
Knowledge of Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-native equivalents)
Exposure to data warehouse or data lake architectures
