Description
SQL Server Database Developer
Chantilly, VA (hybrid)
Pay From: $90,000 per year
MUST:
3+ years of relevant database development experience using Microsoft SQL Server
Working knowledge of T-SQL, including joins, aggregations, stored procedures, and views
Hands-on experience creating Power BI reports and dashboards
Familiarity with Power BI data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
Understanding of relational database concepts and data integrity
Familiarity with source control tools such as Git is a plus

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong documentation skills
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
Bachelor's Degree
DUTIES:
The ideal candidate will be supporting and building reports, dashboards and database solutions to support our client s business process unit
Develop and maintain Microsoft SQL Server database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
Write and troubleshoot T-SQL queries to support applications, reporting, and business analysis
Use approved AI tools to assist with development, troubleshooting, documentation, and learning while validating outputs and protecting company and client data
Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable data solutions
Investigate data discrepancies and help maintain data accuracy and consistency
Support data integration and ETL processes across multiple systems
Help identify and resolve query performance issues
Document database logic, data flows, and reporting solutions
