Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Database Administrator (SQL Server) to support and optimize enterprise database environments in a high-volume production setting. This role will be responsible for ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across critical systems, with a strong emphasis on performance tuning, query optimization, and high availability.

This is a highly visible position where you'll take ownership of database health and play a key role in supporting business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments across multiple production systems
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and configuration improvements
  • Design and maintain database structures, storage strategies, and capacity planning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, availability, and data integrity
  • Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts, automation processes, and maintenance jobs
  • Implement and support backup, recovery, and high availability solutions (Always On, clustering, log shipping)
  • Apply database patches, upgrades, and security best practices
  • Collaborate with development and infrastr
