Job Summary

Specialty Printing & Technology Solutions (SPTS) is an exciting and innovative part of HP’s Print Supplies Business, delivering TIJ technology to OEMs, resellers, and partners across ten commercial print market sagements. We enable innovation by integrating HP printing into OEM solutions and offer over 400 SKUs, from small parts to white-label products. Key markets include packaging coding and marking, postage, secure documents, and mail addressing, with growth areas in packaging, coding & marking and consumer applications.

Leads complex, cross-functional supply chain programs supporting full product lifecycle management including new product introduction (NPI), production readiness, sustaining operations, and end-of-life (EOL) transitions. This role integrates planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure successful delivery of supply, cost, and service objectives.

Applies advanced subject matter expertise in supply chain and program management to solve complex business challenges, drive operational improvements, and influence business outcomes across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Product Lifecycle Execution

  • Leads end-to-end supply chain execution across the full product lifecycle, including NPI, product ramps, sustaining operations, and end-of-life (EOL) transitions

  • Drives material readiness, build planning, and execution of prototype, production, and final builds

  • Ensures alignment between engineering timelines and supply chain capabilities across lifecycle phases

  • Manages transition planning for product changes, including phase-in / phase-out strategies

Supply Chain Planning & Operations

  • Leads demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution

  • Partners with demand planning, supply planning, and procurement teams to align forecasts, supply plans, and capacity

  • Monitors and drives key metrics including inventory, service levels, cost, and availability

  • Identifies supply and demand gaps and drives mitigation and recovery plans

Program Management & Execution Discipline

  • Develops, manages, and presents program schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple projects

  • Tracks performance against plan and adjusts schedules, resources, and priorities as needed

  • Drives escalation management, issue resolution, and risk mitigation

Business Operations & Analytics

  • Defines and reviews performance metrics; drives data-based decision making

  • Conducts complex analysis (inventory, forecast, supply plans, financial impact) to support business decisions

  • Supports S&OP processes and cross-functional prioritization of supply chain activities

  • Monitors lifecycle health metrics including inventory exposure, obsolescence risk, and phase-in/phase-out performance

Logistics & Supply Coordination

  • Oversees parts availability, material movement, and coordination across supply chain nodes

  • Aligns logistics and fulfillment plans with build schedules and customer requirements

  • Coordinates with global supply base to ensure continuity of supply

Product Lifecycle & EOL Management

  • Leads end-of-life (EOL) planning and execution, including last-time-buy (LTB), inventory burn-down, and excess/obsolete (E&O) risk mitigation

  • Coordinates cross-functional alignment on product transitions, ensuring continuity of supply during phase-in and phase-out

  • Balances customer demand, supply constraints, and inventory strategies during lifecycle transitions

  • Drives disposition planning and financial impact mitigation for excess and obsolete inventory

  • Partners with planning, procurement, and finance teams to optimize lifecycle cost and working capital

Process Improvement & Strategy

  • Identifies and leads process improvement initiatives across supply chain operations

  • Drives development of best practices, standard work, and planning processes

  • Contributes to strategic initiatives and priority projects with actionable recommendations

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

  • Communicates program status, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders and leadership (Director level and above)

  • Leads cross-functional teams across regions and functions without direct authority

  • Mentors junior team members and supports capability development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP / S4HANA, MRP, ATP, and master scheduling

  • Experience with S&OP processes and inventory modeling

  • Experience working in global supply chains and cross-regional environments

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field

  • 7–10 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or program management

  • Experience across multiple supply chain functions (planning, logistics, manufacturing, procurement)

  • Experience supporting NPI and product lifecycle management in a manufacturing environment

The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
