Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for a Sprinkler Service Inspector. This position involves conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler, clean agent, and special hazard fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine service and maintenance on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
  • Inspect and test system components, clean equipment, and verify system functionality.
  • Identify and diagnose issues with fire suppression systems.
  • Provide customers with instruction on system operation and functionality.
  • Manage job scheduling and progress efficiently and cost-effectively, focusing on quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer questions, concerns, and service requests.
  • Educate customers on fire suppression system functionality, best practices, and emergency response procedures.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Follow all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment, including trucks, lifts, tools, and other company equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Inspector preferred.
  • NICET I Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the Fire & Life Safety industry.
  • Knowledge of applicable NFPA code requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to work in environments involving noise, dust, heat, low-light conditions, heights, and other challenging conditions.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces while using appropriate fall protection and safety equipment.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, drilling, fastening, and other tasks involving torque, vibration, and noise.

Pay

$30.00–$35.00/hour
