Job Summary

Mennonite College of Nursing is accepting applications to support the day-to-day operations at the Springfield location during the traditional fall and spring semesters. This position has flexible hours and requires excellent communication skills to interact with a variety of internal and external ISU constituents.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Required Qualifications

  1. High school graduation or equivalent

  2. Exceptional communication skills and strong organizational skills

  3. Attention to detail; dependability

  4. Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information

  5. Good interpersonal skills for dealing effectively and cooperatively with faculty, staff, students, and public

  6. Ability to perform routine office work using basic clerical skills

  7. Adhere to high ethical standards, using good judgment, confidentiality, and discretion

Work Hours

16 hours per week between 8am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional events may be outside these hours.

Functional Expectations

Must be able to complete the following with or without reasonable accommodations:

  1. Remain at workstation for extended periods.

  2. Effectively communicate on a daily basis.

Extra Help employees may only work up to 28 hours per week for all University employment and are paid for hours worked only. Extra Help employment does not guarantee permanent placement. Extra Help employees may only work up to 900 total hours.
