Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Spray Painters for a leading manufacturing company in Dalton, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality finished metal products in a structured shop environment while working a consistent 4-day workweek. What You’ll Do as a Spray Painter:- Prepare metal surfaces by sandblasting or shot blasting prior to coating
- Apply primer and finish coats using spray equipment, brushes, or rollers
- Mask parts and areas not designated for coating
- Perform touch ups and visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain spray, sandblasting, and shot blasting equipment
- Track materials and supplies and communicate inventory needs to supervisors
What You Need to Bring to the Spray Painter Role:- 2 years of technical school education or equivalent spray painting/manufacturing experience
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions in English
- Ability to read an English tape measure and perform basic math with fractions
- Ability to evaluate welds and assemblies for quality and specification compliance
- Ability to lift up to 90 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable attendance and transportation to Dalton, MN
