  • Schedule: 10:00pm – 6:30am Central, Monday–Friday
  • Compensation: $27.37 (effective July 2026) + $0.75 shift differential & bonus; paid biweekly
  • Worksite: 7501 Page Ave, St. Louis, MO

What Will You Tackle?

  • Operate highway and industrial trucks on company property to spot, stage, and relocate large hazmat trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Pull trailers from blocked positions and maneuver through crowded areas per supervisor direction—zero compromises on safety for people or property.
  • Load/unload materials on company-operated trucks; move and load hazardous waste as directed using proper techniques.
  • Use an electric forklift or other PIT equipment when needed.
  • Perform daily equipment care: clean units; check oil, water, and battery; document on log sheets; replenish as required.
  • Maintain cGMP/ISO records and coordinate lot moves via two-way radio.
  • With the right certification, you may complete local moves to nearby STERIS facilities.
  • Keep equipment and work areas consistently clean.

What Do You Bring?

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Current and valid Missouri CDL (A)
  • Manual dexterity and strong peripheral vision
  • Basic math, writing, and data entry proficiency
  • Comfort wearing PPE; ability to read scales; work independently; skillfully position trailers in tight spaces; and read/understand instructions, safety labels, and manuals

Great-to-Haves

  • Class C CDL and/or hazmat/tanker endorsements
  • Experience tracking moves via two-way radio
  • Clear, confident verbal communication
  • Basic truck maintenance know-how
  • Electric forklift experience

Physical Realities

  • Lift/move up to ~60 lbs
  • Climb to ~10 feet; sit for extended periods
  • Solid hand/eye coordination
  • Accurately capture quality and inventory control data on paper or electronically
  • Maintain a valid Missouri CDL or equivalent
