ResourceMFG is now hiring SPOT WELDERS in Sterling Hts, MI!
CONTRACT-TO-HIRE
SHIFT:
5:00a/6:00a-Finish (up to 10 hrs)
Possibly moving to 2nd shift in November 2:00pm-Finish
PAY:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
DESCRIPTION:
This job is for a site that manufactures metal components and manufacturing solutions (automotive, heavy trucking, aerospace, medical, military, and other industries).
DUTIES:
- Assemble components and parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Use power tools and hand tools to fabricate and modify parts as needed
- Weld and solder components together to create finished products
- Detail finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Light Assembly
- Spot welding
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks
- Pack goods to be shipped
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in assembly or a related field
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for fabrication and modification
- Knowledge of welding techniques and soldering skills
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying and auto painting techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted; anything 50 pounds or over will have lifting aids available and or a two-man lift will be required.
