Soccer Shots Long Island West | Farmingdale, NY
Salary: Up to $55,000 per year | Full-time, on-site
Soccer Shots is the #1 children's soccer enrichment program on Long Island, partnering with 100+ schools to help children build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and soccer skills through fun, age-appropriate programs.
We're looking for an energetic, organized, and people-oriented person to help recruit, hire, and support the coaches who deliver our programs. You do not need HR experience—we'll teach you that. If you have a background in sports, coaching, college athletics, or working with children, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Recruit coaches through colleges, universities, athletic departments, and local networks.
- Review applications, conduct phone screens, and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding, background checks, and new-hire paperwork.
- Build relationships with coaches, candidates, and college contacts.
- Maintain recruiting records
- Work with our operations team to keep coaching positions filled.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- A former college athlete, coach, assistant coach, or athletic department staff member.
- Experienced in youth sports, camps, childcare, recreation, or after-school programs.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable learning new software and systems.
Previous recruiting or HR experience is a plus, but not required.
