GENERAL PURPOSE: Under the direction of the A.S./SDSU Manager of Competitive Sports the Assistant Coach for the Men's Club Soccer Team will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in directing practices 2-3 times a week. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for collaborating with the Head Coach to create practice plans and team development strategies; run and control team drills alone without assistance; and achieve the enhancement of team skill performance. The position averages 8-12 hours per week and requires availability for evening and weekend hours.The Assistant Men's Soccer Coach is responsible for the enforcement of rules, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Sport Club Handbook as well as all duties associated with coaching a collegiate club program.
