What does your company do?

    Job Summary
    The Sport Instructor is a hands-on position that will lead athletes and provides expert instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead engaging instructional sessions across all sports (soccer, basketball, flag football, etc.), focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and sportsmanship.
    • Demonstrate core concepts and lead drills adaptable to multiple athletic disciplines.
    • Maintain a fun, safe, and organized environment for participants at after-school program locations.
    • Communicate clearly with parents and players regarding schedules and program details.
    • Consistently exhibit a positive attitude, high energy, and outstanding customer service.
    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Multi-Sport Versatility: Willingness and confidence to coach and instruct multiple sports.
    • Availability: Must be available starting at 4:30 PM on program days.
    • Location Mobility: Ability to travel to designated session sites, including:
      • Culebra Creek Park
      • Bonnie Conner Park
      • Phil Hardberger Park
      • Classen- Steubing Ranch Park
      • Bulverde Community Park
      • Sotomayor High School 
      • Additional surrounding area venues

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Prior coaching, teaching, or youth leadership experience preferred.
    • Self-motivated, energetic, and reliable for the full duration of the session (~4–7 weeks).
