Job Overview:
The Coordinator will support the Sponsorship & Events Manager as well as each property to facilitate local community involvements. The Coordinator is expected to perform all duties and responsibilities necessary to meet the goals and objectives of applicable programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the planning and execution of all Community involved sponsored events for Wind Creek Hospitality
- Manages and keeps all advertisements involved with sponsored events updated for Wind Creek Hospitality
- Coordinates with appropriate departments to ensure all events are adequately staffed with the appropriate personnel (Go Team, casino marketing, promotions)
- Provides administrative support including the processing of vendor applications, appropriate tax forms, and other supporting documentation, correspondence and paperwork required
- Prepares and executes check requests for community involved events for Wind Creek Hospitality
- Maintains an accurate record keeping of current events through current filing system
- Maintains and updates Google+ calendar every day with community involved events as well as following up and posting notes after events
- Creates documents in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Six (6) months experience with Guest Services– required
- Must have a working knowledge of computers with the ability to work in a Windows environment with various software programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel (A skills test will be administered and must successfully pass with a 70%)- required
- Must have excellent customer service/relation skills along with writing and verbal communication skills (A writing skills test will be administered and must successfully pass)
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
- The willingness and ability to take direction from multiple Managers as required
- Must possess a high level of maturity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must have a valid and current State Driver’s License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required
- Must work odd and irregular hours as needed; Major travel required. Participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
