Why this job matters
Ko-Kwel Spirits is a growing part of our property and guest experience, and the Spirit Production Assistant helps support the daily operations that keep production moving smoothly. This role focuses heavily on hands-on production work including bottling, labeling, transporting products and materials, maintaining organization within the production space, and assisting with the overall flow of spirit production. This position works closely with the Spirit Production Specialist and other team members to support daily production goals, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and assist with Cask Club fulfillment and spirit-related projects. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and being part of creating something unique, this role is a great fit.
What you bring to the table
Must-haves, nice-to-haves, and maybe some bonus points
Physical stuff to know
We've included the typical physical parts of the job here. If you need an accommodation to do the work, just let us know-we're here to support you. This role is active and hands-on. You'll spend much of your shift standing, walking, lifting, and moving throughout the production and storage areas. You'll regularly lift and carry up to 80 lbs., including cases, supplies, and production materials. Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements are part of the job. The production environment may include fluctuating temperatures, loud equipment, airborne particles, and alcohol vapors. PPE and safety procedures must be followed at all times. Forklift, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment may be used regularly. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability may occasionally be required based on operational needs. Just a heads-up, the casino environment may expose you to secondhand smoke. This is a quick summary of the main duties and requirements-it might not cover everything you could be asked to do.
Ko-Kwel Casino Resort is owned by the Coquille Indian Tribe. Team members are eligible for a comprehensive health care benefit, generous time off policy, 401-K retirement with 4% company match and other benefits.
