The SPG Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, and client satisfaction of Special Projects Group design-build projects. The Project Manager works closely with clients, preconstruction teams, designers, and field personnel to deliver projects efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and profitability.
Client Details
- Manage all phases of multiple SPG projects simultaneously.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution.
- Lead design-build coordination efforts with architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Develop budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and project execution strategies.
- Negotiate and administer subcontractor and vendor agreements.
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, billing, and cash flow.
- Manage change orders and ensure timely execution of contract modifications.
- Lead internal project planning meetings and progress reviews.
- Support estimating and business development efforts for repeat clients.
- Coordinate project closeout, warranty activities, and final documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.
Description
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- 1-5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Design-build project delivery experience preferred.
- Experience managing renovations, tenant improvements, and fast-track projects.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
