The Speech Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, communication, cognitive, swallowing, and other speech-related disorders. Develops activities for patients and formulates individualized treatment program in coordination with physician’s prescription. Implements activities designed to restore or improve communicative efficiency of patients with functional or organic speech disorders. Determines need for referral to specialists in medicine, dentistry, etc. while working closely with a greater rehab and medical team.
Education Required: Masters in Speech Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence with completed Clinical Fellowship Year.
Related Years of Experience: Two (2) years clinical experience preferred.
Credential/Licensure Required: Wisconsin state licensure or temporary licensure in Speech Language Pathology
Skills Required: Video fluoroscopy experience preferred.
Shift: Working Casual Call, meaning you would work as needed.
** Casual Call staff get an additional 10% shift differential for hours worked
