Job Description:InGenesis is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate
part-time Speech Therapist to provide professional speech therapy services to residents at Stockley Center in Delaware with complex medical, cognitive, and physical needs. The selected candidate will work as a key member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, supporting residents through evaluations, treatment planning, therapy services, staff education, and ongoing care coordination.
Stockley Center provides integrated, high-quality medical services to its residents, including primary care, specialty consultations, and care coordination during periods of acute illness and hospitalization. The Speech Therapist will provide direct speech therapy services while collaborating closely with nursing, administration, and other specialists to support resident outcomes. Experience working with chronic health conditions, adult neuro-developmental medicine, geriatric populations, enteral feeding tubes, and tracheostomies is highly desirable. The Speech Therapist reports directly to the Director of Nursing.

- Must possess or obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Must be a Medicaid participating provider.
Experience- Minimum two (2) years of experience working with individuals who have cognitive and physical impairments.
- Experience supporting medically complex populations is preferred, including individuals with chronic health conditions, neuro-developmental disabilities, and geriatric needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct speech therapy and treatment services to individuals and groups.
- Conduct resident evaluations, assessments, and consultations.
- Develop and implement individualized learning and treatment plans.
- Design non-direct intervention programs for implementation by support staff.
- Function as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document care, treatment plans, and interventions in resident records.
- Provide in-service training and continuing education to direct support professionals and team members.
- Participate in wheelchair/seating clinics and assistive technology initiatives.
- Pursue funding opportunities and complete documentation for assistive technology devices.
- Ensure compliance with professional and national standards of care delivery.
- Maintain and troubleshoot therapy equipment as needed and coordinate repairs.
- Participate in committees and workgroups as assigned by leadership.
- Support Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance billing requirements as applicable.
