SPEECH PATHOLOGY TECHNICIAN (SPT) | PER DIEM OPPORTUNITY JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Pathology Technician (SPT) to join a dynamic healthcare team on a per diem basis. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the SPT will assist with therapeutic interventions, patient treatment plans, and documentation while helping patients improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing functions.

- Hours: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
- Meal Break: 30 Minutes
- Pay Rate: $49.00 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with speech and language therapy activities
- Support implementation of treatment plans
- Document patient progress and treatment activities
- Prepare therapy materials and equipment
- Collaborate with speech therapists and healthcare staff
- Assist patients during therapy sessions
- Maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an approved Speech Pathology Assistant/Technician program preferred
- Previous pediatric or hospital experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
