    Description

    School Speech Language Pathologist delivers therapy services to students in a school setting, conducting evaluations, creating treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to promote student success. This 36-week contract in or near Phoenix, AZ offers competitive pay and benefits.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting

    • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

    • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

    • Document progress and ensure compliance with district and state standards

    • Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or equivalent field

    • State licensure in Arizona or eligibility to obtain licensure

    • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Excellent organizational skills, patience, and ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families

    • Flexibility to adapt to various classroom environments and student needs

    • Must pass background checks and adhere to school district requirements

    Preferred Skills:

    • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
