Qualifications:

NJ Speech Language Specialist Certification

Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, exhibits professionalism, flexibility, and organizational skills

Experience working in the public school setting preferred

Understanding of school based speech services and eligibility under NJDOE special education code

Experience working with various age groups and case management

Extra duties as assigned by the building Principal and Supervisor of Special Education

Salary: $60,653 - $115,891 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications

All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the AppliTrack portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered.
