Celebrations Speech Group is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an in-person, school-based position in San Jose, CA serving elementary and middle school students.

Position Overview

- Pay:$35.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience
- License Required: Current California SLPA License
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Implement treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Support elementary and middle school students with a variety of communication needs.
- Document therapy sessions, service delivery, and student progress.
- Assist with progress reports, speech files, and required school documentation.
- Support scheduling and coordination related to IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, special education staff, and school teams.
- Communicate student progress and concerns with the supervising SLP.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License required
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting, bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or other qualifying education for California SLPA licensure
- Ability to work full-time and in person in San Jose
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with school teams
- Positive, dependable, and professional approach
