You will have the opportunity to help children strengthen their communication, language, feeding, and developmental skills while seeing the impact of your work every day.We primarily serve children from birth through kindergarten and may expand services during the summer to include elementary school-aged children with special needs.What You'll DoAs a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:Evaluate children's speech, language, communication, and related developmental needs.Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.Provide engaging therapy that helps children build functional communication skills.Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies based on each child's needs.Complete clinical documentation and reports accurately and within required timeframes.Collaborate with families, educators, therapists, nurses, and other members of the treatment team.Educate and support families as they help their children practice new skills.Celebrate meaningful milestones and help children gain greater confidence and independence.QualificationsEducation and CertificationMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.Current Arkansas Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain the appropriate Arkansas license.Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to complete a Clinical Fellowship Year.ExperienceOne year of experience in a similar position is preferred.New graduates and Clinical Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply.An equivalent combination of education and applicable clinical experience may be considered.Skills and AbilitiesPassion for working with children from birth through age seven.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, coworkers, and other professionals.Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Ability to complete clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic records, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet-based programs.Ability to understand and follow safety requirements, policies, procedures, and other company documents.Ability to use sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills.Make an Impact That Lasts a LifetimeEvery new sound, word, and connection matters.
