Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Silicon Valley Region, CA
Pay Rate: Competitive Weekly Pay based on experience up to $92/hr

As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll play a vital role in helping elementary students develop the communication skills they need to thrive both academically and socially.

Your Days Will Include:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine student eligibility for services.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups.
• Maintain accurate documentation using SIRAS/AbleSpace.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student progress.
• Maintain compliance with IDEA, California state regulations, and district policies.
• Travel between 2–3 nearby school sites (mileage reimbursed).

Job Details

• Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
• Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
• Age Group: Elementary
• Caseload: Approximately 46 students
• School Sites: 2–3 campuses (mileage reimbursed between sites)
• IEP System: SIRAS/AbleSpace

Successful Candidates Possess

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active or pending California SLP License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs encouraged to apply if applicable)
• California Department of Education credential (or ability to obtain, if required)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
