    Speech Language Pathologist

    Location: Houston, Texas

    Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

    Schedule: Day shift, 8 AM - 5 PM

    Job Description: The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate speech/language and swallowing abilities of patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in health status. The role involves synthesizing data to establish a plan of care that incorporates evidence-based practice interventions and goals tailored to the patient's age and development. The selected candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and assess the intervention program.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
    • Develop and implement tailored plans of care.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to execute intervention programs.
    • Utilize evidence-based practices in treatment plans.
    • Complete additional duties as assigned.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

    • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
    • Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • Neonatal experience is required.
    • Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Study is required.
    • Pediatric and adult experience are preferred.
