Speech-Language Pathologist, SLP - Daycare Setting

The Opportunity

Speech-language pathologists working with toddlers and preschoolers know how much the setting shapes the work. This role places you inside a play-based daycare and early learning environment in Mobile, AL, where therapy happens through story time, sensory play, and daily classroom routines rather than a clinical office. The position pays $36/hour and includes relocation assistance for candidates coming from outside the area.

Your Day-to-Day

• Conduct play-based speech, language, and early communication assessments for infants, toddlers, and young children
• Design and deliver therapy plans built around early childhood learning styles and developmental milestones
• Work alongside daycare teachers and early childhood specialists to build communication strategies into classroom routines and play
• Track and document progress, adjusting approach as speech clarity and language skills develop
• Coach parents and childcare staff on carryover strategies for home and classroom use

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid Georgia state license in Speech-Language Pathology, or active license eligibility
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows and CFYs are welcome to apply
• Prior experience with pediatric populations or early intervention is a strong plus, though not required
• An adaptable, playful approach suited to working with very young children
