    Description

    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PreK FMLA Coverage
    Location: Quincy, MA
    School Setting: Learning Center
    Student Population: PreK

    We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide FMLA coverage at a specialized learning center in Quincy, MA. This is a short-term opportunity for the fall of the 2026–2027 school year, supporting preschool-aged students in both integrated and specialized educational settings.

    Position Details

    • Start Date: September 3, 2026 (First Day of School)
    • End Date: November 25, 2026
    • Schedule: 7:35 AM – 1:50 PM
    • Hours: 32.5 hours per week
    • Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary FMLA Coverage
    • Work Setting: Onsite
    • Office Space: Provided

    Caseload & Responsibilities

    • Provide speech and language services to PreK students
    • Support both integrated and substantially separate special education classrooms
    • Deliver direct therapy services and support IEP goals
    • Complete evaluations, documentation, and progress reporting
    • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
    • Support students with a variety of communication and developmental needs

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) systems
    • Strong behavior management and classroom collaboration skills
    • Experience supporting students in specialized early childhood settings

    Required Qualifications

    • Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology licensure requirements
    • DESE licensure preferred, but not required

    Compensation

    $50.00 – $60.00 per hour (based on experience)
