    About the Role

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary hospital team in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. This position provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across acute care and outpatient settings.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations

    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

    • Provide dysphagia assessment and management, including bedside swallow evaluations and instrumental assessments (e.g., MBSS/FEES if applicable)

    • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational and physical therapists, dietitians, and case managers

    • Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and home programs

    • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

    • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and discharge planning

    Qualifications
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

    • Current Hawaii SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)

    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs may be considered with supervision available)

    • Experience in hospital or medical setting preferred

    • Strong clinical skills in dysphagia management

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
