Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide evidence-based speech therapy services.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute settings.
