Speech Language Pathologist - Contract

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Teammates will travel throughout the below areas: Albemarle, Badin, Harrisburg, Mt Gilead, Norwood, Troy and cities in between. Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: Driver's License and proof of Insurance required.

Clinical Interviewing- Yes - Second interview with Manager

On Call, Call Back Requirements: No call

Holiday Requirements: No major holidays

Floating Requirements: Geographic area - Stanly & Montgomery counties

About Facility:

• Home Health
• Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Department Information:

• 6 visits a day
• They are required 30 VE a week
• There is not a max mileage to drive. The average is approximately 60-80 miles a day. Mileage is reimbursed weekly.

Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year Home Health

Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes, if seasoned to home health

• Cognitive, trach, difficulty swallowing, stroke, aphasia
• All adults

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

• Driver's License and proof of Insurance required

Skills required: HCHB experience, self-motivation and able to work independently, great time management, able to communicate with a multi-disciplinary team.

• Mosia- will upload discharge instructions and other important docs such as wound pictures

• 5 days orientation

• RTO: manager to approve
